Artifacts of Transformation
In this collaborative exhibition, Felipe Lopez and Staci Swider reinterpret materials with memory — metals, textiles, heirlooms, and industrial remnants — to reveal new layers of meaning. Lopez reshapes discarded metals into intricate sculptures that highlight transformation and endurance, while Swider builds collages that weave together texture, history, and cultural narratives. Together, their works invite reflection on the resilience of human identity and the unseen forces that guide us through time. Artifacts of Transformation speaks of connection, heritage, and the ongoing dialogue between past and present.
Opening Reception: February 20, 2025 – 5:00 to 7:00 PM, including live music, refreshments, and an artist talk at 6:00 PM.
